Work Experience Programme
As part of our career development vision, Colenbrander believes in fostering a passion for accounting among young students. We regularly host learners from various local high schools who wish to find out what a career in accounting is really like. The Grade 11 Work Experience Programme forms part of school’s Life Orientation syllabus, and we couldn’t be happier to offer budding “Bean Counters” an immersive, fun and informative experience with our team. There is a wide variety of careers under the umbrella of the accounting profession, and we at Colenbrander believe that by offering young learners practical insight we are helping them to make informed career decisions. It is a great reward to hear how those involved in the Programme value their experience and if any of them decide to pursue a career in the field, the future of the accounting profession will be in good hands!

“I had such a wonderful experience at Colenbrander, I was given such a warm welcome by the friendly staff! I intend to pursue a career in accounting, after having learnt a lot about being a CA. My time here was very informative and interesting.”
“During my two days I was exposed to the various sectors within the accounting firm and was even given the opportunity to do some work within these sectors. This allowed me to learn so much about the day to day lives of the different Chartered Accountants here.”
